Disney’s New Streaming Package Includes Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ at $12.99
Disney execs revealed a price tag for the combined streaming deal they had advertised while releasing Disney+ on their annual income call. While that service will cost $7.99 a month alone, this move will take cable cutters home into their embrace for $12.99 per month on ESPN+ and ad-supported Hulu.
That’s about $5 less if separately subscribed — and the exact same price as the standard plan for Netflix — and it will be available as soon as Disney+ launches on November 12th.
Disney+’s releases in 96 days, and “nothing is more essential” according to CEO Bob Iger than having the release straight as a direct-to-consumer offer.
While Disney criticized its Fox acquisition for failing to meet certain standards, material such as Hulu’s The Simpsons — and to regulate Hulu— that originated as a portion of the agreement will serve an enormous role in trying to discover the next manner to profit as cable starts to disappear.
